Practicum Opportunities

A Healing Place is proud to offer Marriage & Family Therapy and Social Work practicum students internships to gain hours and training while working towards their Masters degrees.

At A Healing Place, students will offer low cost therapy services to individual clients of all ages, as well as offer workshops to children, teens and young adults in the community. 

Students will have an opportunity to gain observable hours, apply theory and interventions and help develop workshop curriculum. 

Students will also gain skills in legal and ethical standards, utilizing an EHR, conducting an intake assessment, completing intake paperwork and a variety of other miscellaneous tasks relevant to the field. 

Students will be provided supervision following the BBS Guidelines.
