A Healing Ground is an integrative mental health practice that honors the connection between mind, body, emotions, and lived experience. Our clinicians combine evidence-based therapeutic approaches with somatic and culturally responsive practices to support whole-person care. We prioritize safety, attuned presence, and nervous system regulation so you can engage in therapy with greater self-awareness and stability. Our goal is not only symptom relief, but meaningful, sustainable healing that supports personal growth, relational health, and overall well-being.

Yes. We offer both online and in-person sessions to support accessibility, comfort, and the unique needs of each client. Online sessions provide the flexibility to engage in healing from wherever you feel most safe and grounded, making it easier to integrate growth into your daily life. In-person sessions allow you to experience the energetic presence of our physical healing space, where the environment itself supports embodiment, ritual, and deeper somatic connection. Whichever you choose, our focus is on creating a space where you feel held, seen, and supported as you move through your journey of transformation. You are invited to select the format that best nurtures your body, mind, and spirit.

Beginning therapy is an important step, and financial concerns should not prevent you from accessing care. We are currently in the process of credentialing with Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and Medi-Cal. In the meantime, we offer reduced-fee sessions and an equity-based sliding scale to increase accessibility. We can also provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance provider. Additionally, we offer services for clients eligible through the California Victim Compensation Board (CalVCB). Our goal is to make high-quality mental health care accessible, supportive, and responsive to your needs.
Getting started is straightforward and supportive. You can contact us through our website or by phone to schedule an initial consultation. During this conversation, we will discuss your concerns, answer your questions, and determine the services and clinician that best fit your needs. Our goal is to ensure you feel informed, comfortable, and confident as you begin the therapy process.
Your initial session is focused on gaining a clear understanding of your concerns, history, and goals for treatment. Together, you and your therapist will explore what has brought you to therapy and identify priorities for your care. From there, we will collaborate on a personalized treatment plan designed to support meaningful and measurable progress.

Holistic means we honor the whole of you—mind, body, emotions, relationships, energy, and spirit. Healing is not limited to thoughts or behaviors; it includes how you feel, how you breathe, how you carry your story in your body, and how you connect to something larger than yourself.

Decolonizing means we gently unlearn the beliefs, systems, and stories—personal, familial, cultural, and societal—that have limited your voice, power, or pleasure. It is a process of reclaiming your truth, honoring your ancestry, and healing beyond oppressive narratives so you can live from a place of authenticity and freedom.

Somatic refers to healing that includes the wisdom of the body. We explore how emotions, memories, trauma, and intuition live in your physical experience. Through grounding, breath, movement, and body-based awareness, you learn to listen to your body as a guide, not just a vessel.

Integrative means we bring together multiple approaches—psychological, relational, spiritual, somatic, and evidence-based methods—to support you in a way that is tailored, whole, and aligned with your unique journey. Nothing is one-size-fits-all; your healing draws from many sources working together in harmony.

We offer individual, couples, and group sessions designed to support healing at the emotional, relational, somatic, and spiritual levels. Our services include traditional talk therapy, somatic practices, expressive arts, movement, ritual, and other innovative approaches tailored to your unique journey. Each session is created to meet you where you are and guide you toward deeper presence, embodiment, and transformation.

Most sessions are 50–60 minutes, though some specialized or somatic sessions may be longer. The frequency depends on your needs, goals, and availability—we work with you to create a schedule that supports consistent growth while honoring your pace and capacity.

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our work. Everything you share in sessions is held with the utmost care and respect, creating a safe space for reflection, exploration, and growth. Your privacy is protected, and we will never share your information without your consent—except in cases required by law, such as concerns about child abuse, elder or dependent adult abuse, or imminent risk of harm to yourself or others. Our goal is to maintain a safe, trustworthy, and supportive environment while honoring both your confidentiality and legal responsibilities.
