A Healing Ground. is a non-profit mental health counseling practice, looking to hire PT and FT licensed and pre-licensed mental health clinicians as W-2 employees.
We offer a great opportunity to experience private practice with help and support from a wonderful group of clinical and administrative professionals. As a non-profit, we are able to employ pre-licensed clinicians who are beyond their initial 6 year period. We are also an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. *Borrower must meet all PSLF requirements to qualify.
In addition to in-person sessions in our in-person location in Calabasas, we are hiring CA Licensed Clinicians to offer telehealth services remotely throughout California.
We believe in the practice of ethical business and employment standards and only hire W-2 employees according to California labor laws.
Licensed Therapists
We are seeking Licensed Clinicians (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD, PhD) to see 10+ clients per week.
Earn up to $70 per session!

Requirements
- Must possess an active and unrestricted professional license or registration through the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- Must be able to pass criminal background and reference checks.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records including notes and treatment plans.
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy.
- Can work independently and collaboratively with other clinicians and administrative staff.

Optional Incentive
Open to Licensed Clinicians.
Additional funds are paid on top of standard pay structure, when the requirements outlined below have been met:
- $10 incentive per completed CPT 90791 session OR CPT 90837 session, when completing 20-39 of the aforementioned sessions per pay period ($60/total).
- $20 incentive per completed CPT 90791 session OR CPT 90837 session, when completing 40-59 of the aforementioned sessions per pay period ($70 total).
What We Expect

Compensation
<10 clients per week = $45 per Clinical Hour.
10+ clients per week = $50 per Clinical Hour.
All non-clinical hours paid at Admin Rate of $20 per hour.
Charitable Caseload
20% of the Licensed Therapist’s caseload will be allocated to serving clients for charitable purposes. These completed sessions will be paid at the Admin Rate of $20.00 per hour.
Associate Therapists
We are seeking dedicated, reliable part-time Associates (AMFT, ACSW) to see 15-20 clients per week.
Associates must be open to seeing children, teens, and adults. Applicants must also be local and able to physically report to one of our Calabasas offices for client sessions and group supervision. A hybrid work model is available; however, this is not a fully remote position.
Associates on their second CA BBS registration number are encouraged to apply!
Earn up to $42 per session!

*Associates must have training and/or coursework in family therapy and therapy with children. Direct experience may be considered in lieu of training.
*Associates interested in seeing couples must have additional training in couples therapy (Gottman, EFT, etc).
Requirements

- Must be in good standing and have an active registration number with the BBS (Board of Behavioral Sciences).
- Must have a minimum of 1200 Hours accrued under current registration
- Currently on first OR second Associate registration.
- Must have completed CA BBS required Suicide Risk Assessment & Prevention training.

What We Expect

Compensation
Clinical Rate:
15-19 clients per week = $30 per Clinical Hour.
20-24 clients per week = $36 per Clinical Hour.
25+ clients per week = $42 per Clinical Hour.
*Telehealth/remote therapy sessions must be conducted with both audio AND visual.
All non-clinical hours paid at Admin Rate of $18 per hour.
Charitable Caseload
20% of the Pre-Licensed Therapist’s caseload will be allocated to serving clients for charitable purposes. These completed sessions will be paid at the Admin Rate of $18.00 per hour.
